AMS will be hosting a Spring Book Fair Monday, March 25-Friday, March 29. We will also be doing a before school event called Trash to Treasure: Turning Discarded Books into Treasure. The following is the schedule of events:
Monday, March 25 at 7:30 am- Word Marbles (Students will cut words from discarded books and attach to clear flat marble stones.) Tuesday, March 26 at 7:30 am- Bookmarks (Students cut out bookmarks from discarded book pages. They can draw or print an image on the bookmark.) Wednesday, March 27 at 7:30 am- Roses (Students will create roses out of discarded book pages.) Friday, March 29 at 7:30 am- Folded Book Art (Students will be shown how to create folded book art from discarded books. Please bring a ruler to this event.)
The book fair will be open during all Trash to Treasure events and homeroom on Thursday, March 28. It will be open during the afternoon from 3:45-4:00 pm each day. Scholastic has added an exciting digital payment option for those who do not wish to send money to school with their children. They now have an eWallet option for purchasing and as always, an online book fair.
